Job Summary:

Senior Medical Director, Early Phase Clinical Development, Oncology, Freelance, Norway


My client is a mid-sized Pharmaceutical company that are in early stage development of one of their Oncology trials and are currently in need of a Senior Medical Director with extensive experience in Oncology. This position will require you to be partly based from their office in Norway with some flexibility to work from home. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Provide expert medical support in the area of Oncology 
  • Participate in team meetings
  • Be a lead member of the project team and lead preparation of scientific documents
  • Work alongside with marketing department to develop promotional materials
  • Review and approve safety plans 
  • Provide business development support and communicate with investors


  • Minimum of 5 years experience in the pharmaceutical industry 
  • Strong early phase experience
  • Qualification in Oncology
  • Qualified Medic 
  • Experience leading large teams 
  • Experience working in the HQ of a large life science organisation
