We are currently recruiting for an exciting new opportunity working as a Key Account Manager within the Mental Health market. This exciting role will be working across the East Midlands, covering Derby, Leics, Northants, Milton Keynes, Beds, Luton, P'boro and Cambs. As a KAM, you will manage and develop a sales territory and ensure sales targets are achieved through optimal formulary positioning in Secondary Care.
We are currently recruiting for a progressive Pharmaceutical organisation with an exciting new opportunity working as a Key Account Manager within the Mental Health market. This exciting role will be working across the East Midlands, covering Derby, Leicestershire, Northamptonshire, Milton Keynes, Bedfordshire, Luton, Peterborough and Cambridgeshire. As a KAM, you will manage and develop a sales territory and ensure sales targets are achieved through optimal formulary positioning in Secondary Care. The main responsibility of this role will involve active face to face selling to NHS customers working within the Primary and Secondary Care environments.
Primary Care experience is essential and Secondary Care experience would be beneficial.
Proven experience of advocacy development and customer mobilisation to support brand development.
Able to identify account needs and recommending business opportunities to facilitate on-going Market Access.
Must have a minimum of 2 years proven sales experience within the Pharmaceutical/ Healthcare industry.
Be capable of maximising prescribing opportunities in Primary and Secondary Care and create clinical and commercial demand through appropriate prioritisation of prescribers and influencers within your key accounts.
A thorough understanding of the NHS.
Excellent planning and organisational skills.
Excellent selling skills with proven achievements.
Ideally ABPI qualified.
Possess a full, valid UK driver’s licence with no more than 6 points.
Maximise sales and increase market share for the brand.
Actively work towards and be accountable for achieving commercial objectives set by the Sales Management Team.
Gain formulary inclusion, help shape and develop clinical protocols, and ensure implementation of positive guidance through affirmative stakeholder endorsement.
Develop, implement and continually review key account plans to ensure highest ROI.
Identify and action new opportunities which will drive business.
Identify and develop Key Opinion Leaders to positively influence the use of the company’s brand(s).
Maintain thorough working knowledge of disease therapy area, brand and competitor activity.
Demonstrate a high level of teamwork and sharing best practice.
Continuously demonstrate strong 1:1 selling skills.
