Mary Bolt is recruiting for a Medical Science Liaison to join a family-held pharmaceutical company in a field based position on a permanent basis. This role will cover the UK alongside another MSL and will specialise in haematology.

The main purpose of the role will be to:
-Work with Regional Sales Business Managers to compliantly provide targeted and timely support to sales team to achieve broad formulary status and implementation for products at prioritised accounts as well as working closely with the marketing function to define, plan, manage, implement and evaluate prioritised brand campaigns and customer engagement projects.
-Define, plan, manage and execute KOL development in target therapeutic areas in close collaboration with the Medical Affairs Manager and Brand team.
-Support the provision of educational meetings focused on iron deficiency anaemia management by interacting with HCP speakers to provide briefings around compliance, product information, clinical and scientific data and support the development of presentations.

Further responsibilities will include:
-Act as a liaison between key HCPs, Brand team and HQ based Global Clinical Development team for interventional studies and investigator led studies and act as the lead for select UK based non-interventional studies.
-Become an internal expert for assigned key therapy areas and ensure timely therapeutic training of medical and commercial teams.
-Develop and implement therapy area specific UK publications plan by identifying relevant UK generated data from clinician led audits/studies, advise on medical writing/data analysis as required and support publication in appropriate formats (congress abstracts, journal articles etc.).

In order to be considered for this role, you will be required to have the following qualifications, skills and experience:
-Educated to degree level or above in life sciences, pharmacy or related field and ideally a higher qualification such as a Master's or PhD.
-Previous experience in an MSL position and an understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and the NHS.
-Strong drive, collaborative mind set and excellent communication skills as well as having a successful track record at building and maintaining relationships with KOLs/Stakeholders.
