Job Summary:

As Associate Director for European Regulatory Affairs within a global pharma sponsor you will be tasked with providing strategic focus across the product lifecycle for marketed products within the EU, line management of a small team of regulatory professionals and to ensure collaboration with stakeholders to ensure projects meet agreed deadlines.

As Associate Director for European Regulatory Affairs within a global pharma sponsor you will be tasked with providing strategic focus across the product lifecycle for marketed products within the EU, line management of a small team of regulatory professionals and to ensure collaboration with stakeholders to ensure projects meet agreed deadlines.

I am working with an outsourced consultancy who are looking to bring on an associate director to focus on the management of their marketed products for European markets. This is a senior level role and the successful applicant will be responsible for line management of around 8 people. Reporting  into the Senior Director, you will be front facing with client stakeholders, health agencies, overseeing and executing strategy and evaluate new business opportunities where needed. 

Job Description 

  • Responsible for overseeing all DCP, MRP and national submissions and approvals for allocated projects
  • Project manage all regulatory submissions to ensure all teams hit agreed deadlines as outlined via global regulatory strategies
  • Life Cycle maintenance
  • Representation on behalf of client at any/all health authority and agency meetings
  • Evaluate and identify business development opportunities 

Key Requirements

  • Life Sciences degree and/ or advanced degree
  • 7+ years Regulatory experience working across marketed products
  • Strong experience interacting with European Health Authorities
  • Line management of both permanent and contracted employees
