Job Summary:

One of our most reputable partner has asked for our expertise in order to recruit a Senior Medical Information Advisor. The Advisor would join a pioneering group working on Protein Discovery. The group has a portfolio of pre-clinical projects currently advancing rapidly towards clinical evaluation. (Senior Medical Information Advisor / Scientific advisor - 12 months - Contract - Big Pharma - South UK - Office-based)

The ideal candidate would be an experienced clinician with experience of early drug development who is ready to take on a new challenge and further develop their career within a fast-paced environment. You will be an important contributor to the strategy of the group and be responsible for shaping clinical plans as projects move towards Phase I studies.

Role responsibilities:

  •  Providing clinical input and leadership to a portfolio of projects spanning phases from target validation to Phase I. 
  •  Provide input on clinical aspects of pre-clinical drug discovery projects at project initiation and prioritization phases. 
  • Work closely with a small team of chemists, biologists & pharmacologists to align pre-clinical drug discovery strategies to achievement of desired clinical responses. 


  • Medical degree (MD or MD/PhD) 
  • Robust experience in clinical development and monitoring in the pharmaceutical industry. 
  • Demonstrated experience in leading discussions with regulatory authorities and safety boards.
