Lucy Stendall is recruiting for a Nurse Advisor in Rare Diseases to join a leading pharmaceutical company at their site based in Welwyn Garden City on a permanent basis.

The role is a field based position, with the expectation of travel up to 50%, whilst spending the remainder of the week working from the office in Welwyn Garden City, supporting the field team and haemophilia nurses in their practice where required.

The main purpose of the role will be to
- Contribute to the successful launch of the company's new haemophilia product by ensuring that the nurses perspective is integrated in all launch plans and future brand plans, build confidence in the new medication within the nursing community and ensure all material developed for people living with haemophilia and their clinical teams are answering their needs and co-created with the community.
- Ensure all tactics are implemented as per the budget phasing
- Work collaboratively with colleagues whilst establishing individual goals/ objectives
- Develop and cultivate relationships with critical external customers and stakeholders within the nursing community
- Develop and lead the implementation of company services to support the haemophilia community
- Maintain and develop established account relationships as requested by the Key Account Managers or Medical Science Liaisons
- Create and conduct educational or training presentations to customers, support groups and others in the bleeding disorder community
- Establish daily goals, follow up contacts and devise appropriate customer strategies in collaboration with the marketing, sales and medical teams.
- Support and network within the bleeding disorders community, attend and participate in local, regional, national events and conferences as appropriate.

In order to be considered for this role, you will be required to have the following qualifications, skills and experience:
- RN Diploma, Associates or B.S. degree in nursing
- Nursing experience, previous experience within the pharmaceutical experience would be preferable
- Ability to travel up to 50% or as determined by business needs
- Experience with Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook and Word to document activity
- Haemophilia experience is preferred or experience in a specialist secondary care environment. Recent haemophilia/ bleeding disorder sales support experience would be preferable.
- Experience leading larger scale projects & experience of influencing in a matrix organisation is desired.
