Technical Lead Statistician
This company is a CRO, and the good thing about them is the want someone completely technical to handle the complex analysis and reporting.

It’s mostly Phase IIb-III Oncology trials which would mean Survival and Longitudinal/Logistical Regression. You may need to do some Mixed modelling for some of the tougher studies but overall – it’s purely technical.

The down side is: You still need to be in meetings. But it’s just technical reporting and explaining to the client aspects of the study. There’s more project orientated person that can handle the talking and relationship for you.

And you can do this all in the quiet of your own home. Sounds good to an introvert (you can be based in other countries in the EU).

I find most Statisticians are introverted people who like looking at the data, talking about it and then getting back to analysing and reporting. But if you find that your job has been doing more of the talking to people and less about the Statistics then this is a good job for you.

You’ll need to be a Senior Statistician, seasoned with at least 5 years of being in meetings and statistical analysis in a Clinical Trial environment.

LOCATION: UK office based or UK/EU Home based
SALARY: Competitive

What does this company want the ideal person’s background to look like:
• BSc AND MSc or Phd in Statistics or a Degree with strong statistical content
• At least 5+ years working in the CRO, Pharmaceutical, Medical Device or relevant industry – or relevant experience in Phase I, II-II studies or IV.
• Have had experienced account management and project management on global levels with full ownership
• Experience in SAS is a must.
• Must have the rights to work in the EU region.
