For an International Pharma company in full development, located in Diegem, TalentSource Life Sciences is looking for an experienced Pharmaceutical Affairs Officer. In this role you will provide administrative assistant to different teams, such as regulatory affairs, safety and quality. A senior role with a lot of variety in the tasks and in the teams you work with!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support to Regulatory Affairs (RA) department
    • Maintenance of the RA database
    • Assist in the preparation of submissions for marketing authorizations, variations and renewals according to strict deadlines
    • Assist in the development, translation and filing of up-to-date labeling….
    • Assist in the development and implementation of new packaging materials and leaflets
    • Assist in the preparation of the necessary documents for administrative release of all products.
    • Ensure adequate filing and archiving
    • Pharmacovigilance : assist in maintenance of local archive
  • Support to Quality Affairs department
    • Provide the necessary administrative support to audit preparation & audit reporting
    • Assist in the SOP management and SOP writing, assist in the preparation of the quarterly quality report
    • Assist in the follow-up of product complaints, including maintenance of the QA database
    • Maintain training plan of employees and file & archive training materials
  • Support to Compliance department
    • Administrative support for Efpia, MDEON, samples, promotional activities, promotional materials and congress participation
    • Assist in the preparation of contracts with healthcare professionals and/or organizations.
  • Support to Pharmacovigilance activities
    • Administrative support in all PV related tasks
  • Various administrative tasks
    • Ensuring an adequate administration of the department
    • Receiving and opening correspondence
    • Filing for the department
    • Translations of scientific documents/letters
    • Receiving phone calls, assessing their urgency and relevance
    • Editing texts on the basis of verbal consultation, written texts or (concise) instructions
    • Composing presentations for the department on the basis of (concise) instructions
    • Maintain literature database
    • Coordination of medical questions arriving via phone, mail, website, …

Education/Experience:

  • Higher education
  • Experience in a similar position/environment, preferably within the pharmaceutical/medical industry
  • Experience in archiving and documentation management is a plus
  • French or Dutch mother tongue with a very good level of the other language; good English
  • Excellent command of MS office (Powerpoint, Word, Excel), Outlook and telephone protocol
  • Experience with databases on document management such as DocComplaince and tracking systems such as Trackwise is a plus.
