Job purpose

Responsible for driving successful tender outcomes within the UK hospital market & ensures targets are exceeded. Works closely with the CMU, hospitals & wholesale providers to develop strong relationships that ensure optimal tender compliance levels & commercial maximization. Drives growth through the identification of bespoke product needs, off contract sales, compounding & clinical trial customers. Identifies & achieves new routes to market for the Sandoz hospital portfolio. Aligns with the Tender Manager to ensure feedback on all tender submissions.


Key Responsibilities
? Identify and construct stakeholder maps for NHS, CMU, Wholesalers & other key contacts
? Builds strong relationships with tender authorities and Key Opinion Leaders
? Actively positions Sandoz as a hospital Oncology injectable partner, mainly with procurement and aseptic pharmacy
? Drive growth in B2B sales, regular meetings with key B2B customers and identifying new opportunities
? Gathering & sharing of market intelligence (prices, competitor activity etc.) with Head of Retail, Head of Speciality, Tender Manager, Business Excellence & UK Sales Manager
? Identify opportunities to offer value-add and differentiated products and services (packaging, stability data, pack sizes, dosage forms etc.)
? Supports the NPL process with customer & patient insights to ensure optimal portfolio development
? Working closely with the Tender Manager to ensure robust analysis and scenario mapping for key tender submissions
? Liaises with the Business Excellence, Finance & other regional teams to drive COGS optimisation for key products on tender submissions, including current & future portfolio
? Collaborates & participates effectively with the Tender Manager, Business Excellence & Finance to define hospital tender & off-contract pricing strategy
? Responsible, in conjunction with UK Sales Manager & Tender Manager, for the preparation of the annual Hospital & Oncology injectable target submission
? Attends industry & trade body events, providing meaningful input and insight sharing
? Effective and practical business planning as required
? Represent the Sandoz brand in a professional manner

-Preferably has a life sciences degree and ABPI qualified
- Thorough understanding of NHS tenders and NHS Hospital market
- Previous B2B experience an advantage
