Medical Advisor - Rare Diseases + Oncology Location: West London / Greater London Remuneration - £70,000 - £90,000 per annum plus benefits. Our client is a global specialty-driven biotechnological organisation with more than 20 drugs in over a 100 counties and is seeking a Medical Advisor to cover their Rare Diseases and Oncology franchises.

The Company:
Our client is a global specialty-driven biotechnological organisation with more than 20 drugs in over a 100 counties and is seeking a Medical Advisor to cover their Rare Diseases and Oncology franchises. They have an engaging company culture allowing employees to operate autonomously and take ownership over their work.

Role:-
To maintain clinical knowledge and expertise in relation company's products and therapy areas, such that business opportunities are recognised and delivered.

To maintain regular contact with KOLs (non-promotional role), acting as a medical ambassador in representing the company's medical position with these customers as well as with associated medical and patient organisations.
To provide a scientific duty of care and ensure the benefit/risk of company's products is understood and remains appropriate.
To provide expert opinion and, when appropriate, training for internal and external stakeholders on relevant products and therapy areas (non-promotional role).

Applicant Requirements:-
* Must be a Pharmacist
* ABPI Final Signatory (or close to becoming a final signatory)
* Ideally therapy exposure in rare diseases or oncology but not essential
* In-depth understanding of medical affairs and working in a commercial environment
* Excellent team-working skills
* Potential to lead teams
* Pro-active worker
* Strong presentation skills
