Sandoz is currently recruiting for a Supply Planner to join our growing team.

Job purpose

The purpose of the Supply Planner role is to deliver Supply Planning activities for a portfolio of pharmaceutical products sourced from various manufacturing vendors to meet customer availability targets whilst minimising inventory and write-off losses.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the Supply Planning cycle for a complex portfolio of pharmaceutical SKU’s in various phases of their lifecycle, ensuring vendors meet requirements as per the S&OP derived forecast plan and within defined inventory level parameters.
• Utilising the APO SNP (SAP) module review list of purchase requisitions (weekly) for both Inter-Company and Third Party vendors and convert or delete as appropriate within a Made-to-Order (MTO) supply environment.
• Work closely with Inter-Company suppliers to execute supply within a Made-to-Stock (VMI - Vendor Managed Inventory) environment.
• Identify potential stock outs via weekly APO SNP (SAP) alerts and drive action to mitigate risk to service levels ensuring the business impact is communicated to all teams.
• Engage with local Sandoz QA team to manage prioritization of release activities. Work co-operatively with the Sandoz Customer Service & Account managers to maximise Customer order fulfillment and feedback.
• Undertake S&OP meeting preparation and deliver full S&OP with key suppliers. Challenge and maintain local Master Data accuracy in APO and ECC (SAP). Align changes with Global Master Data team.

#LI-SAN Minimum requirements The ideal candidate will have:

• GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics
• Bachelors or Master’s degree, major in Supply Chain, Operations. (Desireable)
• Professional Supply Chain / Operations qualification (APICS, CIPS) desirable English
• 2 years prior experience working within a Supply Chain function (eg. Purchasing, Replenishment Planning, Customer Services/Order Fulfilment, New Product Launch, Demand Planning/Forecasting, Warehousing & Distribution)
• Operational knowledge of SAP ECC/R3 a prerequisite
• Prior experience to ERP analysis or planning systems (eg. SAP APO and SAP BI – Business Intelligence/Warehouse Database)
• Ability to operate in a just-in-time model / low inventory business
• Capable to manage portfolio of products autonomously
