Job purpose:

To drive and optimize wAMD patient journey with the definition, operational plan roll out and tracking of key strategies around service development, fast referral & quality diagnostics and patient support solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning – To recommend 3-5 year strategic options for the product through the MPH planning process.
Marketing Planning – Based on critical success factors identified, development of the annual marketing plan outlining key activities and marketing programmes to address the CSFs and implement approved strategies within agreed budgets.

-To ensure plans/strategies accommodate the changes taking place in the market and respond to customer need. Operational Implementation
-To implement the annual marketing plans specified programmes and activities.
-The effective implementation of the marketing plan (either directly or through junior reports) within agreed budgets.
-Production of sales/production forecasts.
-To monitor and take corrective action for major deviations on plans, strategies, budget management and efficient use of resources.
-Salesforce & Interdepartmental Collaboration
-To act as the ‘product champion’ central point of contact for all marketing related activities
-To encourage cross-functional input to the MPH planning process.
-To create ownership of plans with key personnel, ensuring a full understanding of the product strategy and marketing programmes key to the success of the brand.
-Special emphasis on cross functional collaboration with FF OSS and Service Implementation Teams.
-To identify and anticipate future customer needs, constraints and requirements.
-To be fully conversant with relevant market research techniques, product /therapy area and the market / customer base. Minimum requirements The ideal candidate will have:

-Preferably educated to degree level Science, Marketing or Business English:
-Good spoken & written English
-Product Manager who has managed products at different phases of the lifecycle.
-Manager who has demonstrated competent management of a product
-Understanding and demonstrable working knowledge of the UK market.
