Job Summary:

Here at inVentiv Health Clinical we are currently recruiting for a dedicated and experienced clinical professional with a background in Patient Recruitment to work fully embedded with our global pharmaceutical sponsor as an Operations Recruitment Manager. This role will be fully home based.


The position is working on global studies and across multiple therapeutic areas and is a great opportunity for someone to work within a leading pharmaceutical company and play a pivotal role within study teams.

As Operations Patient Recruitment Manager you are primarily accountable for the management, execution and timely delivery of tactics for patient and site-facing initiatives for a clinical trial as developed by the Strategic Recruitment Manager. Tactics include, but are not limited to: patient recruitment, retention or compliance; Informed Consent; or site engagement.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

Manage execution phase of project.
Obtain and document IRB/EC approval of tools and tactics, if needed.
Manage the execution or the printing and distribution process of the approved tools and tactics.
Manage the vendors involved, set clear expectations with the vendor regarding deliverables, timelines, costs, communication pathway, etc.
Control the timelines to meet the local submission process.
Serve as the liaison between the clinical trial team and suppliers, as appropriate.
Participate in critical study-related meetings.
Maintain documentation of development and implementation requirements to ensure quality standards are met
Provide metrics needed for KPI evaluation.

This position would suit someone who has a background in Patient Recruitment and could be an excellent opportunity for either someone performing a similar role within Pharma or CRO who wants to work within a world leading organisation or someone with extensive study site experience that includes patient recruitment who is looking for a chance to move into pharma.

The position is working within a global team and can be conducted from the UK, The Netherlands or Belgium.

Solid Educational background (ideally Life Sciences or Nursing degree)
Proven experience with Patient Recruitment (gained either from study site or pharma/CRO)
Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence study teams and manage vendors
Ability to work as part of a team and independently

This position can be based in the UK, Beerse or Leiden. Candidates must possess full eligibility to work within the country for which they are applying to be considered.
