With offices in 46 countries and more than 12,500 professionals worldwide, PPD applies innovative technologies, therapeutic expertise and commitment to quality to help clients and partners maximize returns on R&D investments that accelerate the delivery of safe, effective therapeutics.    Now a great opportunity exists for an experienced professional to join our team at the position of:   CODING SPECIALIST, SMOLENSK   You will participate in the creation of study specific coding conventions and perform coding of medical terminology. Your responsibilities will include review of coding, raising coding queries and updating the clinical database as required. You will also provide support to other members of the coding group.   You will be skilled in general data management activities with a sound knowledge of medical terminology. In addition you must have good communication skills, as you will be required to interact with data management study leads on an ongoing basis.   You will have relevant industry experience and preferably have a clinical background and/or a nursing qualification.  

Qualifications

  Required Education and Experience 
  • Life-Science Degree (including nurses)
  • Good command of English
  • Computer skills (user level)
Desired Education and Experience 
  • Experience in a clinical data management role or related experience (e.g. within a clinical environment) would be considered as an advantage
  • Medical terminology coding experience would be an advantage
