Role: Clinical Research Associate II / Senior CRA

Company: Small, global, privately owned CRO

Location: Barcelona / Spain

My client has recently won a number of new studies, therefore is looking for 2 motivated Clinical Research Associates with experience in Oncology trials. They have a great foundation in the clinical industry and due to a number of business wins they are planning to grow over the next 3 - 4 years and are dedicated to the growth of their people. The company is small enough to offer flexibility but large enough to offer structure and stability, so you get the best of both worlds. 

Responsibilities Include:

  • Perform site visits and monitor activities in accordance with protocol, GCP/ICH Guidelines, and other applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Depending on experience, mentor CRAs on monitoring, internal procedures, and query resolution.
  • Use expertise and judgment to identify and resolve complex site issues and deficiencies in documentation, communication, and the need for additional training.
  • Assess and ensure overall integrity of study and adherence to guidelines, protocols, and regulations.
  • Evaluate overall performance of site and site staff.
  • Ensure compliance and understanding of study requirements by site staff.

Experience Needed:

  • Life Science Degree
  • Minimum of 18 months of independent monitoring in a CRO or Pharmaceutical setting (also Academia)
  • Confidence in mentoring and developing Junior CRAs
  • Good GCP knowledge
  • Oncology experience essential
