Job Summary:

Chiltern is hiring for a Biometrics Trainer - Clinical Data Management, Biostatistics, and SAS Programming. This is a permanent/salaried role allowing the job holder to work remote from anywhere in the U.S. or Canada.

Requirements:

Job Background

  • Primarily responsible for the business, operational, and compliance aspects of drug discovery, development, and marketed products at client.
  • Clinical Data Managers work collaboratively with internal and external colleagues and vendors to support client’s business objectives.
  • May act as a mentor to junior employees.
  • Lead, or participate in the oversight of, the execution of QuEST’s (Quality, Efficiency, Systems, Training) Learning and Development Department projects as assigned by Manager.
  • May have accountability for delivery of departmental infrastructure projects.
  • Participates in cross-functional projects that may involve non-Biometrics departments.
  • Effectively interact with cross-functional team.
  • Capable of handling training projects that are complex in scope and volume.
  • Lead or participate in the design and implementation of training courses through all phases of the course lifecycle.
  • Provide technical and business process input on new and emerging technologies/vendors for learning and development.
  • Demonstrates strong facilitation/presentation, communication and project management skills.
  • Demonstrates an ability and desire to manage people, infrastructure projects, expert groups, and/or vendors.
  • Demonstrates an ability to handle prioritization of workload.
  • Lead or participate in the development, review and implementation of processes, policies, and associated documents affecting QuEST Learning and Development Department group.
  • Participates in or lead QuEST cross functional working groups.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of QuEST Learning and Development Department through information sharing, training and education.
  • Effective project and risk management skills.
  • Demonstrates an ability to influence Biometrics peers and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Demonstrates ability to identify issues, as well as communicate and escalate project level issues including processes, timelines, resourcing, performance, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Works collaboratively with QuEST, PALM and other Biometrics staff to meet QuEST Learning and Development Department project deliverables and timelines
  • Ensures completeness, accuracy and consistency of QuEST’s Learning and Development Department documents including training material and web content.
  • Develops training content and provides classroom training for training courses.
  • Develops and maintains QuEST’s Learning and Development Department documents including non-training material.
  • Develops and maintains eLearning and other web-based learning solutions.
  • Participate in QuEST and cross functional initiative teams.
  • Project level coordination of QuEST’s Learning and Development Department tasks
  • Communication and escalation of project level issues including processes, timelines, resourcing, performance, etc.
  • Communicates with functional peers regarding project status and issues and ensure project team goals are met.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills are required.
  • Demonstrates the ability to work within budget constraints, while utilizing resources efficiently and in a fiscally responsible manner.
  • Collaborates with various Biometrics departments to identify the best learning solutions for their groups.
  • Works with vendors to develop and/or acquire training materials and tools.
  • Serves as a point of contact for user problems or additional queries of various complexities.

Education & Experience

  • 5 years of experience and a BS degree.
  • 3 years of experience and a MS degree.
  • 2 years of experience and a PhD.
