Job Summary:

Opportunity for an English Speaking Clinical Project Manager to join a Global Pharma in Germany as EU Clinical Trial Leader (Early Phase / Oncology). This is an operational role in a close team involving protocol writing and vendor management. Office Based.

PRIMARY DUTIES

The Clinical Trial Lead’s main responsibility is the operational leadership of one or more clinical trials and the oversight of CROs and vendors management according to the applicable partnership model. Accountable to drive and monitor protocol related activities throughout the lifecycle of the project ensuring targets are met according to timelines, budget and quality expectations.

Able to take responsibility of guidance and mentoring activities of other trial managers. Act as a central point of contact for communication between the team and the external partners, developing mitigation and resolution strategies, and promptly responding to action items. Develop and lead the presentation on trial status to governance on budget, timelines, quality and risks, including deviations.

EU and some US travel will be required.

 

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

BSc essential, Advanced degree in Life Sciences (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Pharmaceuticals) preferred or equivalent

Extensive experience in clinical research in CRO or Pharmaceutical Industry environment

Experience working in a global environment and managing global trials Phase 1 – 3

Solid leadership, mentoring and influencing skills

Willingness to travel as required
