Are you familiar with the Trial Master File looking for a fresh challenge and have extensive people management experience? We are looking for a senior level manager to lead a team of operational managers who in turn manage our internal TMF delivery project teams.

The role:

In this key role you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of assigned operational aspects across the Readiness division in the UK, including leading and overseeing the Readiness Leaders ensuring projects are set-up and delivered, on time, to budget and to the highest level of quality by appropriately qualified and trained resources.  The role will report into the head of department. 

A full job description will be provided ahead of interviews but in brief, your role will include:

  • Lead, motivate, and effectively manage, develop and direct the Readiness Leaders, coaching them to identify the best people for their project tasks. Always leading by example and providing positive support to colleagues and team members with clear objectives.
  • Become an SME within the Readiness team to be experienced and practiced in all elements of the Readiness workflows.
  • Provide daily, weekly and/or monthly key performance reports to HoD around volumes, productivity, availability and quality.  Conduct analysis of project data to ensure projects remain within budget.
  • Work closely with Head of TMF Readiness on Project Oversight activities including review of Project Specific Guidance, metrics, budget vs actual, resource forecast and regular project review meetings.
  • Contribute to the development of global division procedures, reports, goals and objectives which facilitate operational efficiency, high productivity and maintain quality levels in with organisational aims and objectives.

Act as site manager back-up and escalate any facilities issues to the Facilities Management team.

We are looking for individuals who:

  • Have proven operational management/project coordination experience in a clinical trial administration environment.
  • Have experience of leading and managing teams to deliver projects on time and within budget
  • Have experience of project start-up, resource planning and analysis of data.
  • Are flexible, rational, organised and innovative who can prioritise, make decisions, ad reschedule tasks as appropriate in a fast paced environment
  • Can demonstrate a strong flair for innovation to ensure continuous process improvement is at the heart of every day activities

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have a background working with Trial Master File documents, extensive knowledge of Essential Documents is required.
  • Be an effector communicator at all levels
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills
  • Have Intermediate/Advanced Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook skills
  • Demonstrate a flexible, proactive, diligent and self-motivated approach to work
