Joining the team at Research Manager Level, you will be independently managing qualitative and quantitative projects and be responsible for design, project management and analysis.

This role will enable you to work across pharma market research projects from start to finish whilst gaining valuable experience across a variety of techniques and methodologies.


  • Together with the Project Team, deliver projects on time, within budget and to client satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain good communication with the client from briefing meeting to debrief and final report.
  • Write the proposal for the client, involving others as necessary, and responsible for delivering the final proposal to the client.
  • Conduct in-depth interviews with individuals and moderate focus.
  • Organise and attend client-viewed field work alone (domestically and internationally) and resolve client related issues.
  • Present the final results to the client using relevant members of the team but maintaining accountability for the content and presentation.
  • Ensure that all outputs delivered to the client from the project are of the highest standards within the constraints of deadlines and budgets.


  • Experience of market research and skills in specialised qualitative and quantitative techniques and models.
  • A good understanding of the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries in the UK or globally.
  • An interest in motivating, developing and coaching people.
  • A minimum of 4 years’ experience working in a pharmaceutical market research agency of which 2 years should have been at SRE level.
  • Good interpersonal skills, especially negotiation, written and presentation skills.
  • Experience of managing teams and people management.
  • Ability to learn and teach others and explain methodologies and techniques to clients.
  • Fluency in another modern European language would be desirable but is not essential.
