Our client provides world class medical imaging (Positron Emission Tomography and Magnetic Resonance Imaging) services to industry and academic clients to support drug development and help improve disease understanding.

Our client provides world class medical imaging (Positron Emission Tomography and Magnetic Resonance Imaging) services to industry and academic clients to support drug development and help improve disease understanding.

This position provides a unique opportunity for the successful candidate to play a key role in a clinical research environment which includes the development and manufacture of PET radiopharmaceuticals, as well as the performance of clinical studies within a single quality system. The QP will be required to perform release for PET radiopharmaceuticals under the terms of the site MIA(IMP) licence.

The successful candidate will be an experienced quality professional, who can apply their knowledge of GMP in a pharmaceutical development environment to this unique and challenging area. Experience in clinical research would be an advantage, but is not essential.

To be considered for this position you will have:

Significant relevant experience, gained within the pharmaceutical industry, ideally in a development environment
Demonstrated expertise in quality management within a GMP environment
Eligibility for nomintaion as Qualified Person for IMP's
Knowledge of sterile pharmaceutical manufacture
Experience of hosting regulatory inspections
Knowledge of the unique implementation of QA Programmes associated with the manufacture of positron emitting tracers or radiopharmaceuticals would be desirable but is not essential 
Good understanding of the requirements of early phase clinical research
