Job Summary:

A very rare opportunity has arisen for a Business Unit Director to join this award-winning medical education consultancy off the back of multiple new business wins.

Requirements:

This independent, multi-award winning medical communications consultancy is very highly regarded in the industry. They have doubled in profit each year and now have a head count of over 100 employees globally. The reason for their success is down to producing medical education programmes that truly change physician’s behaviour like no other agency, to the extent where three specialist clinics were set up in the US off the back of their congress.

The successful applicant will be responsible for the effective management of the relevant business unit to meet all expectations. They will also be responsible for driving the growth of the agency through effective contribution at and beyond the Leadership Team.

The ideal candidate will…

·         Develop the annual plan alongside the CEO

·         Deliver revenue and profit targets, ensuring operational efficiency in line with group expectations.

·         Develop and deliver an effective marketing plan in line with COO group plans

·         Manage the Group studio, developing appropriate processes and tools to ensure high quality delivery on time

·         Manage resourcing and alignment, weekly, monthly and annually

·         Provide accurate forecasts and plan updates in line with group requirements

·         Manage all business development, to drive future business in line with the plan

·         Deliver all required training and sharing of best practice

·         Manage all business and ensuring all aspects of MSA and compliance are exceeded, differentiating the agency from its competitors

·         Ensure all compliance expectations are met and are in line with group expectations

·         Mentor, manage and lead appropriate Associate Business Unit Directors

·         Drive appropriate reward and recognition across the business
