A global consultancy is currently looking for Director of Health Economics. This is a new role created due to company expansion and would be a great opportunity for any Health Economists wishing to further their career with a top consultancy based in London.

 

 

 

Duties

·         Monitoring the success and failure of Health Economics proposals, and taking active client follow-up to support this activity.

·         Organizing, running and actioning project kick off meetings and regular project progress meetings.

·         Setting and monitoring appropriate project timelines.

·         Ensuring that all necessary project start up activities are completed, in establishing project folders, identifying SOP needs, and providing data input from clients.

·         Conducting monthly project budget reviews, liaising with the financial advisor (PFA) assigned to the project.

·         Ensuring that deliverable milestones trigger necessary invoice requests and follow-up actions with clients.

·         Organizing KOL involvement on projects and supporting/running advisory board activity.

·         Monitoring and identifying any potential change in client needs during the project, which may require changes in scope, budget and a revised proposal to the client.

 

 

 

Requirements

·         Postgraduate qualification (e.g. Health Economics, Economics, Health Policy, Health Technology Assessment, Economics, Operational Research), and ideally evidence of formal training in project management.

·         At least 3-4 years prior experience in the project management, with input on design, related to health economic modeling projects (e.g. the application of Markov modeling, individual patient simulation, and budget impact modeling), including an understanding of the development of Bayesian statistical models and the use of Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) code.

·         A proven academic record through peer-reviewed publication and conference presentation.
