Location: Wales

This is an opportunity to work with an exciting, determined and growing life sciences organisation who are a leading expert in immunoassay development and manufacturing services.  They have an excellent culture which is made of a team of proactive, talented, focused and enthusiastic individuals and are always looking for like-minded individuals to join their thriving team.

They are currently recruiting for a full time Senior Development Scientist on a permanent basis and will work within the Lateral Flow Division’s R&D on contract and internal development projects.

Role Responsibility

Planning, executing and troubleshooting the projects technical aspects.
You will be the key technical contact for the project internally with the customer.
Preperation of work plans, analysis and presentation of results using appropriate software tools for review and presentation to the customers.
In addition, you will be required to work in other areas of lateral flow for example verification and validation activities.
Generate and complete project specific protocols as required
Work across activities for the whole development lifecycle as required.
Complete experimental write ups to QMS requirements in a timely manner ready for review.
Review other scientists/senior scientists experimental write ups to achieve consistent quality and meet all QMS requirements.
Work with project team to help in the design, execution and data analysis of experimental work.

 

Essential Skills

Science Based Degree.
Knowledge of immunology and analytical techniques
Experience and knowledge of Lateral Flow Technology
Experience of planning, troubleshooting and analysis of data.
Excellent leadership skills.
Experience of working in the medical device industry would advantageous
Experience of working to GMP/GLP regulated standards.
Excellent Problem-Solving skills
