Vice President in Global Medical Affairs

Permanent position to be based in Berlin


Your new responsibilities:

·         You will manage relationships with Key Opinion Leaders, professional societies and other key stakeholders.

·         You will manage publication strategy from corporate sponsor trials.

·         You will oversee responsibility for the planning, timely implementation, and tracking of all activities of the medical organisation to ensure full and appropriate utilization.

·         You will integrate medical and scientific insight into regional strategies, plans and tactics.

·         You will establish a close, effective and efficient network of external and internal contacts to monitor and influence the development of medical-scientific opinions and beliefs as well as medical practice.

·         You will develop and effectively manage annual operating plan and budget for management of the Medical Affairs organisation.

·         You will present educational information about therapeutic landscape.

·         You will review and approve all medical, technical and promotional materials.

·         You will partner with Market Access and Commercial to co-ordinate medical input into local appraisal documents & strategy.


Your Profile:

·         Medical Doctor

·         Previous work experience in a clinical environment within Orthopedics

·         Experience in Medical Affairs

·         Familiar with relationship building with internal and external stakeholders as well as KOL management

·         Experience in clinical research projects

·         Solid knowledge of regulatory requirements governing clinical trials

·         Fluency in both German and English
