Are you a Senior level Clinical Project Manager looking for an opportunity to take the next step in to a more high profile role?

I'm working with a fast growing, niche, full service CRO who focus their specialty around complex indications such as oncology and rare orphan disease. They have doubled in size over the past 3 years through mergers as well as organic growth and have solid plans to quadruple their business over the coming years.

They are looking for a full service Project Director to join their UK Clinical Operations team, ideally office based in the West London/Berkshire area however have flexibility to work from home. They are looking for a confident and experienced individual as you will be overseeing large, high profile studies with their key clients, as well as some line management.

Responsibilities include:

  • Full project oversite and management responsibility for key studies.  Studies managed will usually be either "complex" or "non-complex" studies, with any number of participating countries or centres, usually global
  • Act as overall manager of a global or complex study leading other PMs or Senior PMs as required
  • High level of involvement in departmental process improvement initiatives, including SOP & Working Practise Guidelines (WPG) review and writing
  • High level of involvement in business development activities, including bid defence meetings
  • May involve line management and mentoring

The ideal candidate will have the following:

  • Global, Full Service, Project Experience (Clinical)
  • At least 4 years of CRO experience (recent)
  • Located in the UK and have industry experience in the UK
  • Minimum of 4 years as a full service Clinical Project Manager
  • Experience in leading cross functional teams
  • Strong BD, negotiation and communication skills
  • Life science degree
  • Passion to want to help grow, build and develop a company’s clinical operations
  • Line management may be a benefit

If you are working for a larger organisation where you lack a sense of recognition or feel limited in your role then this is a fantastic opportunity to use your knowledge in a more dynamic environment. The company  are large enough to have a stable structure in place however are small enough to offer flexibility so you get the best of both worlds. to find out more about this opportunity please contact me on the below email address or call 01293776644.
