The engineering and facilities department are looking to recruit an Engineering business process specialist with engineering background to join their team in Liverpool. In this role, you will provide professional engineering support to the MedImmune manufacturing facility. As a member of the existing technical team the position proactively contributes to the development of providing a World Class service to the site, ensuring GMP Compliance and uninterrupted, stable and reliable operation of the Manufacturing processes.





The role holder will be responsible for: -





* Co-ordination of Engineering Quality System activities to ensure compliance with regulatory and MedImmune Quality System requirements, ensuring the use of best practice and completion to the highest standard.



* Co-ordination, compilation and reporting of Engineering and Facilities Quality Compliance metrics, to ensure effective and timely closure of records with the aim of zero overdues.



* Effective utilisation proactive failure analysis tools and techniques (FMECA, 5Y, etc ) to support the identification and timely and effective mitigation of cGMP risk, ensuring the effective implementation of CAPA’s with the aim of zero repeat events.



* Provide Leadership and Direction of the Manufacturing Project Portfolio to ensure is aligned to both the Department Strategy and Site Long Range Operating Plan (LROP). Accountable for benefit realisation, tracking and reporting of all Manufacturing Portfolio Projects.



* Responsible for Manufacturing Department input and representation at the site PMO level, and support / lead site level projects that impact the Manufacturing department. Is active in ensuring that department portfolio is aligned and supporting of the site program, scorecard and strategy.



* As a key member of the sites Change Review Board – provide co-ordination of functional change ensuring adherence to Quality Systems process and procedures.





Essential requirement



* You will be educated in an engineering discipline and will have the equivalent industry experience of working within a regulatory environment.



* You will have proven track record in Mechanical and / or Electrical Engineering, formal apprenticeship or on-the-job training.



* You must be familiar with the operation and maintenance of plant and equipment for Pharma and / or Biotech facility, including but not limited to :- HVAC systems, clean utilities – steam, purified water, compressed air, manufacturing process equipment and knowledge of GXP systems and practices, facility services and validation.
* Must be familiar with cGMP and regulatory requirements.
