PRIMARY DUTIES

You will report directly to the Head of Medical Affairs.

You will initiate, develop and deliver medical and scientific input to therapeutic Brand Teams which will optimise and achieve those commercial objectives. The role is co-located with the EU marketing and Medical Affairs teams giving easy access and input to strategy.

• To provide medical input to commercial activities for the therapeutic brand teams including the planning, preparation and approval of :-
o strategic business plans and campaign development
o internal and external scientific product presentations
o publication plan development and implementation
o external meetings, advisory boards and symposia
o promotional and scientific materials
 

Be proactive in generating ideas for studies and identifying areas where research, new data and new materials may be beneficial to the brand.
To support the Clinical Team in delivering clinical trials.
Provide Medical advice to the Company in relation to Company sponsored clinical research and investigator driven studies (IDS).

• Develop and maintain ongoing relationships with external key opinion leaders (KOLs), healthcare professionals, government authorities, funding bodies and other entities to further the interests of the Company.
 

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

You will be a fully GMC registered medical graduate. Ideally you will be able to demonstrate clear career development within the pharmaceutical industry and be a certified ABPI signatory. However doctors with Membership and relevant therapeutic expertise seeking your first step into the industry may be considered.
