Job Summary:

TalentSource Life Sciences, the division of CROMSOURCE dedicated to flexible staffing solutions, is currently recruiting for a Clinical Project Manager (CPM) at a leading Medical Devices company in Leuven, Belgium.   For this position we need someone who is able to take well considered strategic decisions and depending on your level of experience, you may be assigned to higher level responsibilities.  


Job specific tasks and responsibilities:      

  • To lead study teams to reach the study objectives in a timely and cost efficient manner with the required level of quality.    
  • To ensure that the study teams lead by him/her are functioning optimally and preferably as high-performance teams    
  • To manage the conduct of all the phases of assigned medical device studies, from initial site selection to final report and archival.    
  • Operationally lead and coordinate activities of the study team or provide oversight of these duties performed by the CRO or Partner to execute studies in the required countries to deliver timely and high quality study data.  Covering site management, monitoring and vendor performance through various quality control activities (regular meetings, on site visits and review of monitoring visit reports)    
  • Review and facilitate approval of site regulatory package.    
  • Proactively manage compliance and quality issues at investigational sites.    
  • Ensure Partner is informed appropriately about any relevant Sponsor information that affects site management    
  • Provide study specific training for internal and external team members.    
  • Coordinate IEC/IRB submissions. Prepare or review responses to questions from regulatory authorities, and IECs/IRBs or provide oversight of these duties performed by the Partner.    
  • Ensure study quality and adherence to the relevant SOPs, GCP, regulatory guidelines and working practices.    
  • More experienced individuals may be asked to:    
  • Mentor Clinical Research Associates and Clinical Research Coordinators 
  • Contribute to process/department improvement initiatives    
  • To collaborate efficiently with relevant departments in order and organize regular study team meetings to ensure this collaboration.
