The Formulation & Process Design Group has two main functions: clinical supplies preparation for Phase IV and Phase V clinical studies and the formulation and process design for new chemical compounds into stable, well absorbed oral dosage forms which are suitable for use in clinical trials and subsequently for marketing. The main emphasis of development is on solid dosage forms such as tablets and capsules.
