  Exciting New Opportunities for Registered Nurses & Nurse Advisers

Working for Nutricia as a Nurse Adviser or a Patient Discharge Co-ordinator will give you the opportunity to work closely with patients and specialise in Enteral Feeds.

We are currently recruiting for two types of roles:

Nurse Adviser - Community Based - Nationwide Opportunities
We are looking for Registered Nurses / Practice Nurses or experienced Nurse Advisers with experience of working in paediatrics / enteral feeding or with an RSCN / paediatric qualification.

Nurse Adviser:  You will provide initial training for patients on enteral feeds and their carers / families on discharge from hospital.  You will offer high quality nursing and enteral feeding home support and provide teaching sessions for healthcare professionals and liaise with GPs, Dieticians and Community Nurses as required.

Skills / Experience Required:

• Current RGN with post registration experience
• RSCN or Paediatric qualification
• A sound knowledge of enteral feeding practice is desirable
• Flexible and committed
• Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and prioritise your own workload
• IT literate
• Full UK Driving Licence

Patient Discharge Co-ordinator - Hospital Based - West Midlands - Part-time (Mon-Fri 10-3)
Patient Discharge Co-ordinator - Part-time: This is a new hospital based role designed to support the needs of specific Acute Trusts by the provision of on-site Nurse support for patients requiring Enteral Feeds.  Based in Trusts within the West Midlands, with your time divided between 2 or 3 sites, your main responsibilities will include: Working closely with Dietitians and Nutritional Nursing Service to deliver rapid discharge of patients through patient training in the Acute setting, Patient / Carer training on all aspects of enteral feeding system and services within the Acute setting, Training of staff on wards/departments on enteral feeding systems and Homeward service as required and Ensuring smooth discharge by communicating with a community based Nurse Team who will follow-up the patients.

Skills / Experience Required:

• Current RGN with post registration experience
• An understanding of enteral feeding with be an advantage but training will be provided
• Flexibility to cover 2 or 3 sites within core working hours
