Who we are

We’re innovation, curiosity and diversity – multiplied by 80,000 professionals in 150 countries. As a global leader in research-focused healthcare, we’re constantly learning and growing – and seeking people who share these goals.

The Position

Serving as a Global Process Owner for one or more assigned processes, you will be responsible for leading the design, development and maintenance of one or more core PDS processes of the highest complexity (e.g. signal management) and partnering with stakeholders to enable delivery of key outputs governed by the core PDS processes. Collaborating closely with Scientific Enablement Leaders you will guide other Scientific Enablement and Processes (SEP) staff to achieve innovation and deliver effective safety /PV system activities.

You will showcase your ability to lead multi-functional matrix teams by setting the course for improvement programmes and influencing externally in your assigned area of expertise. You will maintain your already expert knowledge of key regulatory and legislative changes and best practises, ensuring future changes are always anticipated and planned. You will also be expected to promote Roche activities externally via mediums such as publications or scientific conferences.

Who you are

You’re someone who wants to influence your own development. You’re looking for a company where you have the opportunity to pursue your interests across functions and geographies. Where a job title is not considered the final definition of who you are, but the starting point.

With a higher degree in life science, healthcare or similar equivalent, you will bring an excellent knowledge of pharmacovigilance and clinical safety to the company (e.g. an industry expert with an in-depth knowledge of qualitative and quantitative methodologies in signal management). Your demonstrable hands on experience of delivering or managing related activities will be complimented by a broader understanding of pharmaceutical drug developments. You will have good knowledge of regulatory requirements and guidelines published by global Health Authorities (e.g. GVP Module IX etc) and ideally will have prior experience in a project management/business improvement capacity. You will have demonstrated leadership and communication skills, sound influencing/negotiating abilities, pragmatic and solution driven mindset, and a willingness to adapt and collaborate in a dynamic business setting.

If you are proud of contributing and feel you have the commitment to teamwork and innovation that we are seeking, then Roche is the organisation for you.  In return we offer a competitive salary plus the excellent benefits you would expect from a blue-chip organisation, including a genuine interest in your development and progression.
