Job Summary:

At Syneos Health we are currently recruiting for a unique role to assists the Program Specialists and Managers in managing key financial data across multiple investigator meetings across EMEA and Asia Pac.



Assists the program specialists and managers in managing key financial data across multiple meetings. Manages input of awarded programs and budgets into the meeting management system, assists with reconciliation of program budgets, manages expense reimbursement payments, tracks hotel commission payments, prepares Open Payments/Transparency reports, and creates and updates budgets as needed. Acts as the department subject matter expert for Open Payments reporting and inquiries. Provides support to program managers and is the lead contact on all Europe and Asia-Pacific financial items.


Essential Functions:

  • Manages assigned aspects of financial reporting including creating and updating budget and reporting templates, managing open payments reporting for projects, processing expense reimbursements, tracking commissions, assisting with data migration into the spend management system, tracking and reconciling program budgets, creating cost savings reports, and entering final program spend into the meeting management system.


  • Constructs customized Open Payments reporting for programs and supports program managers.


  • Manages the Company Travel Account ensuring accurate charges against programs, processing payments, and reconciling discrepancies.


  • Compiles budget reports using excel-based tools.


  • Proactively manages sales reporting and program backlog.


  • Interacts with internal and external customers and vendors while helping to expedite work activities.


  • Performs calculations, creates reports, and produces moderately complex word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation documents in a timely and accurate way.


Other Responsibilities:

  • Performs other work-related duties as assigned. Travel may be required (up to 50%).


Education and Skill Requirements:

  • College BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • CRO and Global HCP Spend Reporting experience preferred
  • Experience in Finance/Accounting in Healthcare industry a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; heavy emphasis in Excel
  • Moderate travel may be required including weekends (up to 50%)
