Job Summary:

You will lead advisory engagements and deliver transition, transformation and continuous improvement consultancy to outsourcing programmes, working to lead consulting projects, grow and develop the advisory business and develop expertise in Kinapse staff.

Requirements:

An opportunity has arisen for a Director within our Advisory business to be based in Wimbledon.

As a member of our Advisory Services team, you will be joining an experienced team of Pharmaceutical industry experts to work with our clients to address the challenging and complex issues faced by R&D organisations and leaders today in areas including Clinical Operations, Medical Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, Pharmacovigilance, Market Access, Quality and Compliance.

You will lead advisory engagements and deliver transition, transformation and continuous improvement consultancy to outsourcing programmes, working to lead consulting projects, grow and develop the advisory business and develop expertise in Kinapse staff.

Responsibilities

  • Leading client engagement in a Program Director role.
  • Be accountable for client satisfaction, performance and retention of a profitable contract.
  • Hold the strategic commercial and operational relationship with the client sponsor.
  • Seek opportunities to expand and sell on the contract.
  • Take an active role in Business Development.   
  • Establish or maintain relationships with key buyers and influencers and create leads and opportunities.
  • Lead the development of project proposals.
  • Develop service offerings, marketing collateral and thought capital to support Business Development.
  • Take responsibility for internal initiatives and people management.
  • Take ownership of internal initiatives e.g. to improve internal processes or provide training.                   

  Skills & Experience

  • Significant experience working in life sciences consulting, or a similar role.
  • Excellent client relationship management and communication skills.
  • Track record of business development success.
  • Evidence of an extensive network in support of BD activities.
  • Ability to directly manage and lead project teams.
  • A minimum of a 2.1 scientific or technical graduate degree. A second degree, e.g. MBA, MSc, M.Pharm or PhD is an advantage.
