Job Summary:

Reporting to Head of PMO and working closely with Program Directors and Program Leaders, the Program Manager (Transitions) will take program management responsibilities during the establishment of large-scale operational services programs. The Program Manager (Transitions) will also be responsible for the development of transition approaches and standards within Kinapse, providing key inputs to sales activities, as well as PMO people development activities

An opportunity has arisen for a Program Manager (Transitions) to be based in Wimbledon (some home working considered).

Reporting to Head of PMO and working closely with Program Directors and Program Leaders, the Program Manager (Transitions) will take program management responsibilities during the establishment of large-scale operational services programs. The Program Manager (Transitions) will also be responsible for the development of transition approaches and standards within Kinapse, providing key inputs to sales activities, as well as PMO people development activities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop the Kinapse transition standards, methodologies and implementation strategies, and deliver program management during the set-up of large-scale client programs.
  • Educate others on the importance of proper transition management.
  • Accurately forecast both revenue and costs, and track program costs to ensure cost/revenue/profitability meet budgeted expectations.
  • Actively manage resource requirements, and ensure program recruitment needs are escalated the central resource management process.
  • Provide content to support RFI / RFP responses, with a particular focus on transition.
  • Provide pastoral care to all direct reports.

Skills & Experience

  • Strong track record of establishing large scale and complex service programs, from  initiation through to steady state including financial management, workload tracking and metrics, resource management, continuous improvement, status reporting, lessons learnt and contracting risks and implications.
  • Ability to deliver tailored, concise and targeted communications across verbal, non-verbal and written media.
  • Evidence of developing standards, methodologies and implementation strategy for others to follow.
  • Qualifications in program management disciplines (e.g. MSP etc.) are desirable.
