SEC driving brand forward with new marketing appointment

Specialist life sciences recruitment business SEC has appointed a new Head of Marketing to drive the organisation’s core brand, visions and values forward moving in to 2017.

Chris Howard, formerly Head of Marketing at the Recruitment & Employment Confederation (REC), joins SEC as part of the organisations ambitious plans for increasing the awareness of the organisation across the global pharmaceutical marketplace.

CEO of SEC, Stuart Britton, said of the appointment “Chris joins us with a wealth of experience within the recruitment industry, which we hope can be applied to the life sciences and pharmaceutical industry too. As an organisation we are undertaking a strategic drive towards demonstrating to employers and candidates that our core brand values of trust, honesty, integrity and commitment mean that we can be an organisation that is a trusted advisor to pharmaceutical companies, CROs and the wider industry.”

Speaking of the move, Howard said “the ambition shown by the team at SEC was a key driver for me in joining the business. It is important that our industry has organisations that place a real value on its people and are passionate about what they do for their customers. The people at SEC are a close-knit community and that is an environment where I think I can thrive”.
