Introducing Lead Candidate’s Founders

Launched in late summer 2021, Lead Candidate was co-founded by the coming together of three minds from within the outsourcing space. Fiona Cruickshank and Raman Sehgal are the people behind ramarketing – an award-winning PR and marketing agency for the life science sector. These two entrepreneurs have spent their entire careers growing companies in the pharma and bio supply chain. Andrew Mears adds to Fiona and Raman’s expertise, bringing over 20 years of Talent Acquisition experience to Lead Candidate, alongside an understanding of what it takes to deliver something special to the people and businesses within the sector.

How the Company Was Born

After recognising the frustration of not having the right partner and solutions to solve talent needs, Lead Candidate sought to create the solution that companies in the industry needed. Using client feedback to shape the service offering, the company is focused on delivering a different approach to hiring and being hired in the outsourcing space.

Working only in outsourcing, the company specialises in supporting CROs, CDMOs, and CPOs by helping them to achieve their talent acquisition and career development goals. The three founders have first-hand experience and understand the intricacies and frustrations that accompany attracting talent within the life sciences, and are using this experience to find the right solutions for companies in the outsourcing space.

Future Growth & Innovation

Although a newly founded company, Lead Candidate is fast-growing. They have already appointed Tom Kirkpatrick as Lead Talent Champion and plan to recruit additional Talent Champions to support Tom and further expand the team’s service offering.
