Two laboratory relocation specialists have joined forces to offer customers a seamless approach to moving samples alongside other elements of a lab.
Lab removal firm Aport and sample logistics company Biocair have teamed up to bring combined expertise to their customers’ projects.
The collaboration offers simplified project management and a single point of contact. The two firms will mark the new venture with a free webinar detailing 10 steps to follow when relocating a lab, taking place on Thursday 10th June.
Commercial director of Aport, Tom Wickstead, said the partnership set new standards for the industry.
“We’ve worked with Biocair on numerous projects and having witnessed their expertise and specialist services first-hand, a partnership seemed the next logical step to bring greater value and flexibility to our customers. It means everything they need is sorted with one contact point and one invoice.”
Chief commercial officer of Biocair, Bruce Kennedy, explained: “Many of our customers move samples at the same time as other aspects of their lab, so we often get asked if we can provide additional services. We’re delighted to partner with Aport to give our customers complete peace of mind that as well as their samples being taken care of, their lab equipment, instruments, data, cleanrooms or dangerous goods are all in the hands of experts.”
Both firms work with organisations worldwide and offer services from on-site moves to global relocations.
Biocair is an Authorised Economic Operator (UK) with a global network of ISO 9001: 2015 certified offices, providing time and temperature sensitive GDP logistics solutions for the life sciences sectors. Biocair’s logistics specialists handle every aspect of the shipping process, including on-site packing and provision of all required paperwork, documentation and licenses.
Aport provides integrated relocation services, new instrument delivery and ambient or temperature controlled storage solutions.
