PURPOSE
 
Over the past couple of years, we have migrated of several core investigator payment processes from EMEA / US to India.  Most of the core processes now reside in India however in order for this to be optimal / successful, there is significant collaboration and ongoing coordination required between our IPA (Investigator Payment Administration) process team in India and our core Payment Analysts based in region.
Processes continue to globalise and evolve and the key responsibility of this role is to ensure the core IPA processes work efficiently and effectively with IPA India, adapting and evolving as key strategies for payment improvements are implemented.
Working closely with the EMEA IPA Payment Analyst Manager, US IPA and the head of India IPA operations:

  • Collaborate with our India IPA team on new processes either recently rolled out or about to roll out, ensuring that the process works efficiently and effectively.
  • Critique existing processes already migrated to India, ensuring a seamless operational interaction between in region IPA and India IPA.
  • The role will involve taking the lead and being the main point of contact for resolving and harmonising the processes between in region IPA and India IPA. This person is the main go to point for in region IPA in relation to IPA India processes and performance.
  • Integration and alignment of global processes.
  • Monitor and support performance management with use of data and metrics.
  • Adapt processes as required, influencing key stakeholders to drive an optimal process.
  • Identify and drive improvements in IPA core tools to support an efficient process.
This role will require very strong organisation, influencing and communication skills, working across different cultures and business processes.
 
The ideal candidate will have experience in process re-engineering as well as migrating process to off shore locations.  A pro-active, hands on approach is required with a strong ability to influence decisions as well as an imaginative and intuitive approach to problem solving.
 
The candidate will be expected to learn the processes and strategy quickly in order for them to be effective in ensuring we provide the best possible service for our Investigator sites. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES  
  • Minimum 5 experience within the CRO industry or similar
  • Experience with working with India based colleagues
  • Experience of process re-engineering / process implementation
  • Strong influencing and communication skills
  • Strategic approach / awareness
  • Experience of change management / being a change agent
  • Ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple work requirements to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, managers and clients.
MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
 
Bachelor’s degree with minimum 5 years’ experience; or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
 
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Extensive use of telephone and face-to-face communication requiring accurate perception of speech.
  • Extensive use of keyboard requiring repetitive motion of fingers.
  • Regular sitting for extended periods of time.
  • May require occasional travel.
