Job purpose

The purpose of the Medical Science Liaison Manager role is to manage the MSL Team while also being responsible for interacting with healthcare professionals (HCPs) such as physicians, nurses, pharmacists and decision-makers to deliver effective, credible and appropriate engagement activities and communication of evidence-based scientific, medical, technical and operational topics relating to the development, entry and use of biosimilars in to the NHS within their defined territory.

Key Responsibilities

• Leadership and line management of MSL Team
• Line manage and coach MSL team to develop and retain best talent
• Develop and implement countrywide activities and deliverables for MSL Team including territory design, HCP mapping and engagement plans, reporting tools, team meetings and training programme.
• Develop and manage MSL budget andprovide input into affiliate budgeting and planning process.
• Develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders including SBLT and Novartis MSL Team

#LI-SAN Minimum requirements The ideal candidate will have;

• A degree in Medicine or Life Sciences ideally with postgraduate qualifications
• A driven, motivated leader with the potential to grow with the role
• Good knowledge of the NHS and funding/access programs in the UK
• Ability to lead national medical and clinical projects
• Previous MSL experience essential
