Requirements:

QUALITY CONTROL SPECIALIST

Location: Ukraine (Office based)

The purpose of this position is to assume specific responsibilities related to quality control of warehouse operations storing and distributing investigational medicinal products (IMP), Marketed Registered Pharmaceutical Products (MPP) and clinical trial materials (CTM).

The holder of this position reports to the QC Manager/ Responsible Person (RP).

The position is task/hands-on oriented and reviewed for accuracy and completeness by the QC Manager/ RP and is independent in carrying out assigned tasks and is expected to practice continuous self- training.

Responsibilities:

  • Support to QC Manager/RP in handling and sourcing of Marketed (Registered) Pharmaceutical Products (MPP) as per local regulation requirements, Company SOPs and/or WIs;
  • Coordination of any Client or State Authorities initiated recalls of MPP and/or IP including but not limited to checking State information resources, assistance QC Manager/RP in reporting to State Authorities, coordination of recall process;
  • Support to QC Manager/RP in reporting to State Authorities if any recalled, falsified, counterfeiting or suspected falsified MPP;
  • Support to QC Manager/RP in maintenance of documentation as per local regulation (Registers for incoming, outgoing shipments of MPP, State Authority log book, Cleaning and Pest control records, Temperature and humidity files, etc.);
  • Performing inbound shipments release process;
  • Coordination of re-labeling process in accordance with effective Company SOPs (and/or WIs);
  • Identification of quality issues and applying in-depth knowledge of relevant legislation;
  • Reviewing of MSDS for products (CTM, IMP, MPP when available) for compliance with relevant legislation and approving product storage, handling and level of returns reconciliation;
  • Coordination of appropriate cleaning, sanitation, pest control etc. activities for Pharmaceutical warehouse.
  • Performing other duties in accordance with local regulation requirements, Company SOPs and/or WIs and needs.

Desired skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s pharmaceutical degree;
  • Proven working experience in pharmaceutical industry 2 years +;
  • Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP), Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), Good Distribution Practice (GDP), Good Storage Practice (GSP) principles, quality control of medicinal product and thorough knowledge of local regulation requirements;
  • Good organizational and communication skills;
  • Ability to perform quality control tasks;
  • Good command of English (intermediate +)
  • Ability to work independently and to respond effectively and quickly to urgent situations;
