Scientist – Molecular Binding Kinetics SPR and BLI

Requirements:

We have an exciting opportunity available as a Research Scientist / Senior Research Scientist at an innovative Biotechnology company. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in biomolecular interactions to join an exciting organisation in a developmental role.

 

Responsibilities

Designing and execution of scientifically sound binding kinetic studies using Plasmon surface resonance (SPR) and biolayer interference (BLI)

Generation and delivery of high quality and well documented kinetic data packages to support drug discovery and development

Provide innovative solutions for the characterisation of complex molecules such as bispecifics and staying ahead with new technology developments

 

Requirements

Life science degree (ideally PHD)

Understanding of Biacore or BioRad SPR and BLI instruments and analysis software

Understanding of underlying binding kinetics and molecular interactions

Experience using SPR or BLI for epitope mapping and binning

Experience in labelling proteins and using SPR for QC analysis
