Job Summary:

My client is an internationally renowned Consultancy based in the midlans. They are seeking Health Economists and/or Health Economic Modellers. Experience of Health Economic Modelling within academic, consulting or pharmaceutical disciplines is required


The role will encompass; economic analyses, oversight of innovative research projects, undertaking of multi-treatment comparisons, and meta-analyses. In addition, you will be required to advise clients on health economic design, and provide health economic guidance to out Value Insight and Communication projects.

May be required to do some or all of the above and in addition:

  • Expert in Excel/VBA or specialised programmes
  • strategic design of models
  • HTA submission: write economic sections / commissioning documents
  • Write executive summaries
  • Lead author on publications
  • Design model evidence gathering strategies
  • Present at advisory boards and meetings
  • Proposal lead
  • Manage client relationships
  • Chair client meetings/TCs
  • Present information orally (with slides if required)
  • Develop and deliver training sessions for clients
  • Identify business development opportunities
  • Attend pitches
