Job Summary:

Due to continued growth, my client is looking to add 8 x Business Developers to their team across the EU. Ranging from Management level to Senior Director Business Development level, you will be tasked with selling my clients services across the region. These services include R&D and/or Clinical Research.



These newly created positions are due to the continued growth and success of my client. They are looking to appoint in the following regions:

Germany, France, Denmark, Switzerland and Belgium.

You will be tasked with the following:

  • Identify and qualify clients by establishing a sales/business relationship to ensure an active and continuous new and expanded business pipeline that exceeds strategic, long term, annual, and quarterly targeted sales projections
  • Selling of R&D and Clinical Research services (Phases I - IV) across the region.
  • Work with operations management to ensure clear understanding of clients’ needs so client expectations are appropriately managed and consistently exceeded
  • Provide leadership and information to the proposal team to create a high quality proposal
  • Works with company Therapeutic Directors and thought leaders to develop clinical therapeutic concepts that support the advancement of the science associated with company clients
  • Maximizes company knowledge of the medical community relevant to company identified therapeutic areas to identify clinical and post-marketing study investigators
  • Supports in developing and implementing a plan to compile, distribute, and leverage pertinent therapeutic area-specific scientific information


  • Undergraduate degree or its international equivalent 
  • Experience of selling services to the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Several years of consultative selling experience, mostly within the CRO Industry
