Historically, this company have built their name and reputation in the pain market but have been exploring, successfully, other CNS indications in recent years.

The Opportunity

This company is significantly boosting their through internal innovation as well as product and company acquisitions. As part of this growth they are looking to appoint an International Technical Project Leader to lead the CMC activity for a number of core products.

As an International Technical Project Leader, you will be responsible for the CMC Project Management of New Chemical Entities and New Therapeutic Entities including production transfer and coordination of the CMC approval activities.

* Align, coordinate and execute CMC project strategy
* Lead of technical project teams with focus on development, testing and manufacture of pharmaceutical dosage forms under consideration of regulatory requirements. Represent the technical development division in cross functional project teams
* Technical evaluation of licensing options within the framework of licensing activities including participation in due diligence processes
* Contribution to due diligence projects in evaluating assets from pharmaceutical and scientific standpoint during inlicensing and outlicensing activities.
* Project planning and control and the amending of project status and results to management
* Planning and monitoring project budgets
* Evaluation of innovative technologies regarding their suitability to the business
* Assessment of drugs and technologies in the context of dosage form development as well as technical qualitative evaluation of partners for formulation development and IMO manufacture.

The Requirements

* A completed university degree in pharmacy, ideally a PhD
* Several years of experience in drug development including drug delivery technologies
* Experience working in cooperation with external partes such as contract manufacturers
* Experience in complex Project Management
* You must be a proven leader with the ability to motivate and inspire peoples and build strong teams
* Must be fluent in English, German not necessary. This is a very multicultural organization with roughly 50% of the workforce comprised of native Germans and the other 50% made up of over 15 different nationalities.
