Chiltern is hiring an experienced or Senior Biostatistician in Russia (Office based in St Petersburg or homebased in Russia) .


Job Background

We are seeking an experienced / Senior Biostatistician to analyse all parts of any clinical study, and provide planning on multiple clinical studies from multiple clients including tracking project activities and project time management.

We have several opportunties for all levels of Biostatistician, including Senior  / Lead Biostatisticians and Principal Biostatisticians.

In this role, the selected candidate will program and/or review statistical tables, listing, figures and analysis datasets for clinical trials in accordance with Chiltern and/or sponsor SOPs or study specific guidelines; apply knowledge of basic statistical design, analysis and programming techniques; assist in the development and review of statistical analyst plans based on the study specific documents and sound statistical methodology; and ensure the quality and integrity of the data analysis and reporting.

Additionally, will provide guidance to level 1-2 Biostatisticians and actively partner with Level 4-5 colleagues to learn techniques for budget monitoring and work scope changes; interact with project team and line manager to identify project priorities and communicate such activities and associated timelines to departmental management and perform other duties as assigned

  • A degree in statistics/Biostatistics or equivalent
  • Strong experience in biostatistics within a clinical research setting (pharma or CRO)
  • A good understanding of ICH Guidelines E3, E9, E10.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail along with proficiency in SAS and ability to program using SAS macro language required.
  • Proficiency in statistical procedures including non-parametric analysis, linear and non-linear models, categorical data and survival analysis techniques and understanding of data management flow in a clinical trials environment is also required along with excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Depending on role level additional responsibilities coudl include leading study teams and mentoring colleagues.
  • The ability to communicate effectively in English
