** Sales Account Manager / Cataract / Surgical Sales / Medical Devices / Capital equipment **

Job purpose:

The purpose of the Cataract Procedure Manager role is to obtain the maximum sales in accordance with established sales targets. The territory covers Liverpool to Carlisle and involves selling surgical capital equipment, disposables and a service within the ophthalmology sector.

Key Responsibilities:

•Develop new business with customers to achieve safe and effective use of products
•Achieve agreed sales targets
•Maintain and optimise existing relationships and manage business with existing key customers
•Provide feedback on competitor activities in the field via line management
•Organise and co-ordinate local meetings on territory, ensuring adequate catering facilities, company literature, samples and relevant audio visual aids are available where necessary

Minimum requirements

The ideal candidate will have:
•Qualification or equivalent work experience in Life Sciences or a related field
•Ophthalmic surgical sales experience with a track record of achievements – desired not necessary
•Experience in medical devices and medical capital sales environment
Theatre sales experience
