Job Summary:

JustPharma are now searching on behalf of a leading pharmaceutical company for an MSc qualified programming professional (all industries considered) with an interest in developing within the pharmaceutical/clinical environment to take up a role in their international HQ in London (some home-based flexibility).


My client, a world leader in the development of novel drug therapies for a variety of therapeutic areas including a pioneering therapy in Oncology, are expanding their Observational/RWE data analysis/reporting capabilities by offering a Statistical Programming role (Health Technology Assessment). This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Statistician/Programmer/SAS professional to join a dynamic, diverse clinical programming team in a global setting.


  • Development, validation and maintenance of analysis/reporting deliverables for Health Technology Assessment dossiers.
  • Use the SAS program to take clinical trial data from my client’s global ongoing studies and develop analysis datasets, tables, listings and figures under the guidance of a Senior HTA Programmer.
  • Assure deliverable quality and compliance with departmental SOPs.
  • Strong collaboration between local and global project team members.

The ultimate goal of the role will be to support the development of scientifically rigorous arguments with the aim of convincing health authorities to authorise the accessibility of the drugs to patients, making a real impact.


  • MSc in Statistics, Biostatistics, Applied Mathematics, Life Sciences or Engineering.
  • SAS experienced preferred but will consider R. What’s essential is the proven ability and drive to learn new programs.
  • Ideally some clinical experience.
  • Experience with various operating systems and data standards (CDISC).
