Job Summary:

Looking for an experienced SAS Programmer to help lead studies from start to finish within a leading global CRO. It is a flexible position, that can suit your own personal needs, such as being home or office based. Also, it can match your own career ambitions,whether you would rather be more hands-on with the programming or oversee it from a line management position.

Requirements:

I’m currently looking for an experienced SAS Programmer with experience of leading studies to work in a top CRO based in the UK. This role can be based either in the office, or you can work remotely from home anywhere in the UK.

The Role Itself

You will use your SAS Programming experience to lead a study in either phase II or III trials. You shall be working with one particular compound and be responsible for the duration of the full study. It will involve getting to manage a team of programmers that could potentially be based in various global locations.

However, it does not have to be primarily a line-management based role, and you shall get the option of completing lots of hands on programming tasks yourself. You will also get to assist junior members of the team develop their skillsets.

To be a success in this position, you will:
• Have a BSc or MSc in a computer science degree or relevant SAS programming experience.
• Have extensive experience working in the CRO, Pharmaceutical, Medical Device or relevant industry – or relevant experience in Phase I, II-II studies or IV.
• Be thoroughly versed in manging clients expectations, scope of work and either the cost of work or full budget experience.
• Have extensive CDISC experience.
• Be eligible to work in the UK or EU.
