Job Summary:

Michael Parker at Umbilical Life is recruiting a Qualified Person for an expanding pharmaceutical company just outside of London   The contract role is for 2 days a week at excellent rates. There is flexibility depending on the right candidate and the type of responsibilities they are looking for outside of the ‘core’ QP responsibilities. The Pharmaceutical company are looking for a contract QP to come in and really implement change alongside releasing.


Core Responsibilities:

  • Releasing of products across dosage forms, working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Working closely with the head of quality to ensure and improve quality across the site.
  • Continuous improvement of the QMS, with the possibility to also implement a new system and process in the future. 
  • SOPS, Batch Reviews, CAPA’s & Deviations.
  • Working closely with 3rd party manufacturing, testing and distribution.


You must have

  • Qualified QP eligible to release batches within the UK.
  • Excellent knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice & Good Distribution Practice - GMP & GDP
  • A good working knowledge of the manufacturing and distribution process.
  • Knowledge of virtual manufacturing
  • Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
