Description

Chiltern is seeking top talent for positions within our Clinical Analytics department which is a unique and well established business unit within Chilterns’ Strategic Staffing Provision that provides biostatistics, data management and statistical programming solutions to some of the largest pharmaceutical companies globally.  As part of these diverse partnering models we can offer all the benefits of working for a dedicated CRO whilst gaining exposure to the pharmaceutical sector.

 

Job Primary Functions

  • Apply knowledge of basic statistical design, analysis, and programming techniques
  • Support the development and review of statistical analysis plans based on study specific documents and sound statistical methodology
  • Serve as primary statistical representative for biometrics standalone projects or otherwise complex studies
  • Support the development, maintenance, and production of statistical programs and specifications used in creating analysis datasets, tables, listings, and figures
  • Ensure the quality and integrity of data analysis and reporting
  • Maintain awareness of project budgets and tasks, and effectively communicate the status of such tasks to line management and the project manager, as appropriate
  • Provide guidance to Level 1 –2 Biostatisticians.  Actively partner with Level 4 & 5 colleagues to learn techniques for budget monitoring and work scope changes.
  • Interact with project team and line manager to identify project priorities and communicate such activities and associated timelines to departmental management

Job Qualifications

  • Master’s degree, equivalent, or higher in Biostatistics or related field
  • Minimum 5 + years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education or experience to successfully perform the key responsibilities of the job
  • Experience with SAS statistical software
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of employee data and information during interactions with staff at all levels
  • Ability to program in one or more statistical software packages used to conduct statistical analyses
  • Ability to effectively communicate statistical concepts
  • Previous experience within a pharmaceutical research or CRO organization
  • Candidates must have the ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Candidates must have the legal authorisation to work in the relevant country
